Khalid, I don't blame you for being fed up of the US for its lopsided support of Israel and now its threat to shun the Palestinian leadership if Hamas is included in its leadership. The US should support the will of the Palestinian people that seems fundamental to me -- especially if they are serious about bringing democracy to the Middle East. Now they feeding right into hands of the Zionists once again. I am sick and tired of them too and many groups around the world have branched out on their own with their own policies of divestment and boycotts against Israel. People always find a way of standing up to big brother when it doesn't follow its will. Still, I recall how the even tame New York Times lost its cool last year over Sharon's "new realities" on the ground and called it Folly in the West Bank and noted: "The Bush administration is driving American credibility as a Middle East peacemaker to a new low with its support for a major expansion of Israel settlements in the occupied West Bank...this cynical change in the administration policy will have important long-term costs. It will further demoralize Israeli and Palestinian moderates, frustrate Washington's closest European and Middle East allies and undermine the American -backed road map peace plan..." Thus your sentiment is timely .... Dutch
