"Oh I forgot, they were Jews so they have no rights whatsoever" No, I have said repeatedly in other talkbacks that those Jews have a legitimate right of return to Syria (or any country) if they were ejected from that country. If Syria refuses them a right of return then it must offer restitution to the individuals who were ejected. But what has that got to do with the Palestinians? And why should it hold up talks regarding the Palestinians legitimate claim against the State of Israel? If an individual brought a claim for damages against YOU in a court of law, you can not say to the judge "throw the case out, your honor, because my sister-in-law is owed money by someone else" The case brought by the Pals stands or falls on its own merits, and is not incumbent on any claims that Jews might have against other 3rd parties.
