The tunnel is at a depth of 26-28 meters, and the IDF still doesn't know its channel, except for the fact that it starts in Gaza and ends in the southern part of the Gaza border region on the Israeli side.13:14 05.05.16 | 0 comments
In Israel the Hisadrut are all powerful just like they were in England in the 70s and they can bring the entire country to a standstill, other sectors can strike out of solidarity so if the doctors want a pay rise and strike the teachers can strike out of solidarity towards the doctors. Whilst Thatcher didn't get rid of the unions she she cut them down to size and now they are much easier to deal with and there are far fewer strikes. Today Israel needs to have its own Thtacher who can break the power of the Histadrut which in its current form is the left overs from another era when Israel was a socialist state. If we are going to keep the HIstadrut it also needs to be cut down to size so it doesn't have the power it does right now. If Israel wants to attract foreign investors it can't have regular strikes over one thing or another the way it does right now. We live in an era of a global economy and if in Israel the Histadrut is to powerful for the liking of the big companies who are responsible for alot of job creation then they will relocate to China where they have access to sweat shops .... the world is changing and the Histadrut needs to change with it.
