Associates close to Netanyahu and Ya'alon called draft review of Operation Protective Edge 'an unserious report that reeks of politicking.'12:47 06.05.16 | 0 comments
MoR: "Most of the `48 Palestinian refugees who left did so in response to the demands of their leaders," When the Israeli military archives from 1947-49 were released the historians pounced on them to finally - finally! - dig out all those yellowed posters, fliers, etc., where "arab leaders" urged the Pals to Get Out Of The Way. And those historians found.... nothing. No Israeli intellegence reports, no captured documents, no intercepted radio transmittions. The Pals didn't receive messages via mental telepathy, so the advancing Haganah units would have collected evidence by the truckload IF that evidence really existed. But they collected.... nothing. They intercepted... nothing. The Israeli archives are empty, and that's because the story is a myth. The Pals fled an Israeli army that was bearing down on them; they didn't "get out of the way" so that an Arab army could have a "clear run".
