Sincerely or insincereley some people say the Saudi initiative which was uninamously adopted by the 2002 Arab Summit in Beirut, and since then is called the Arab initiative, doesn't offer Israel any compromise. That's not true at all. The Arab initiative offers Israel a total and definit recognizing by all the Arab states. It was immediately rejected by Sharon (may God pity him), because Israel's governments never accepted and still don't accept a real and viable Palestinian state beside Israel. By his "convergence plan" and some unilateral withdrawls, Olmert continues in the same line : for the Palestinians just some 'bantustans'.. All the rest of rhetoric, even embellished with Nobel Prize winner Elie Wiesel's one, is pure lie. Now a question to all sensible Israelis : Have you ever thought that, if your goverment had accepted the Arab initiative as a basis for peace negotiation, Hamas would never have come to power, and even Ahmadinejad probably wouldn't have been elected in Iran??
