Hamas may have told Israel it isn’t looking for another war in Gaza, but it’s clearly desperate to advance its attack tunnels. It’s also delighted to be sowing seeds of discontent and concern among the Israeli public.04:19 13.02.16 | 0 comments
Nobody says Olmert is guilty and must go to jail. He just has to assume his political responsibilities. The Israeli domestic situation points out what we have in France since De Gaulle: we replaced the notion of political responsibility by the notion of emotional adhesion. That is, none of the French politicians assumes his responsibility, no one resigns anymore. For example our President Jacques Chirac is still implied in : -- dozens of financial scandals, -- misappropriation of public founds, -- corruption, passive and active, -- "mouth expenses" = 2,500,000 ? of personal food expenses that Madame Chirac billed on the public account, -- air tickets, residences, 5 stars hotels, hollydays, all payed by hell knows who! -- The French secret services talk about 300,000,000 ? bank account in Japan. And guess what ? - Chirac is still "presumed innocent", clean as a white dove ! And what if his policy were influenced by his scandals? Diversion? Blackmail?
