Hizbollah was very effective because it targeted mostly targeted soldiers and there was confidence once the IDF left the strip that the attacks would stop. Whilst they may still pretend the Shebaa farms belong to them for political purposes, they generally have not preceded to use the stip immediately for firing on Israeli territory and mainly concentrate on the Farms. Constrast with Palestinians who claimed after Israel pulled out that somehow it "still occupied" Gaza, that cannot tell Israel definitively and clearly what will stop the terror and has turned Gaza into a base for firing Qassams. I am sure the number of Israelis that believe today that "ending the occupation" will end terror can be counted on the fingers of one hand.
