The shooter was a trained IDF soldier - he aimed at their legs - doesn't that tell you something? With his training he could easily have killed them, if that's what he wanted to do. But he aimed at their legs inflicting non-lethal injuries intended to stop them. If he was off-duty, out of uniform, the group may have thought he was an unarmed easy target. As always, arabs gamble, and when the lose, they cry unfair.
