'There’s a unique place of pique for the Israelis in certain places in the administration' hovering over negotiations, expert tells New York Times.08:55 29.04.16 | 0 comments
Original: 'government has to abide by the 3 well-publicized conditions: recognition, cessation of violence and upholding of past agreements.' ------- To start off, these are fair and sound conditions that the Israeli government have to abide by. I think we all agree that a country is recognized by its borders. Having said that, I suggest that first Israel recognizes its own borders before asking the Palestinians to recognize such entity. Why the Palestinians are demanded to recognize a Jewish State where a Jew from NY, Russia, Iraq, etc have the right to settle in the Holy Land while Israelis are not demanded to recognize the Palestinians right to return to their homes in Palestine. Why the Palestinians are demanded to give up their premitive weapons while Israel is allowed to buildup this huge military power, ironically proven to be weaker than thought. And lastly, I think all parties to any agreement, including Israelis, should uphold and honor their agreements.
