Being a democracy does not require a country to admit hostile enemies of the state. Democracy does not equate to stupidity.. Nor does it equate to a suicidal or self-destructive trait. You won't find "protesters" attempting to enter non-democractic nations, essentially all Islamic countries and the Palestinian terrirotires, to protest is because they know that upon arrival they will be killed or disappear permanently or for many years upon arrival Shallit-style. Even the Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, will not enter Gaza, and he has been advised by Hamas that they can't guarantee his safety. Of course not. Hamas would be behind his murder if Abbas attempted to enter Gaza. It is precisely because Israel IS a humane and democratic country that these provocateurs are attempting to come to Israel. They know they will be treated humanely and with due process of law. Their motivateion to enter Israel is to spew their irrational hatred of Jews. Let them do it at home.
