As a former Kibbutz member, I am wondering why the Kibbutz movement is not out there supporting the protests. Have they so completely become part of the establishment? that would be quite sad. As for the bigger picture, I would not oppose a temporary military administration controlled by the IDF which would run the country until an entirely new political system were established by the will of the people. (In this case, perhpas it was good that Yoav galant and his villa did not rise to the Chief of Staff position). The Jewish people deserve something better than what we have in Israel. It is a disgusting spectacle, yet as some others have mentioned, we the people can not absolve ourselves of the ultimate responsibility for this mess.
