" and what he does not understand is that -finally - this position is a contradiction: homosexuals cannot have equal rights without having the same rights to marital status as heterosexual couples. (2) I happen to be profoundly disturbed by the modesty embraced by many in the orthodox community because I believe it to be repressive. Does that mean that when I am in an Orthodox neighborhood I have the right to ask all modestly dressed women to remain indoors because they offend me?
