The Russian (then Soviet) anti-aircraft artillery and missiles placed in the Libanese under the Syrian military direction totally and miserably failed during the Israeli invasion of the Libanon in the year 1982. It was the major military lack of balance in all the history of air wars. So Israel will not worry about the new Russian missile system. Israel can perfectly retaliate Syria at the right moment if Assad allows Hezbollah too much.
