Israel was secure from 1949 to 1967, almost 19 years. What happened after 1967 borders were expanded? The 1973 war that Israel almost lost and the cost of the Occupation which meant the loss of University of Tel Aviv professors due to budget cuts. Israel was more secure without the West Bank and Gaza and we all should remember that. There were border clashes, infiltration and sabotage, but no suicide bombers. We should try giving the Palestinians what they want; we have tried everything else to no avail. As for Hamas, does anyone deny that the Irgun, the Lihi, the Hagana and the Stern Gang were all Terrorist organizations who later became the IDF? Ask the British if you are not sure. Make a deal with Hamas/Fatah and be done with it! Make a deal before they go to the UN. The UN created Israel and it will create Palestine; this is your last chance to make a peace on favorable terms. After September, not so much and maybe not at all. the One-State solution is coming up fast and most of you do not speak Arabic! You have three months.
