I am 2nd generation Ashkenazi Jew born in Montreal. In the 50's there was the beginning of the migration of Sephardic Jews into Canada. I admit finding fault with the new immigrants. But the fault was mine not theirs. They were of a different mindset. We actually called them 'Arabs" Jewish but with a middle eastern arab mindset. Again our problem not theirs. Today there is still the slightest mindset differences but their is total respect for one another and mingling of marriages and families. We do not kill each other as per the Sunni / Shia peoples. Israel will be the stronger as both groups become one.

from the article: What if Judeo-Arabs had built the institutions of the State of Israel?
