D: "the elected hamas government acts illeglly when it sponsors terror attacks against Israel" Agreed. Still doesn't allow Israel to settle the WB. D: "They just have to stop their criminal terror acts and make the wall redundant" Olmert says the starting point for border negotiation is this very wall, which puts a lie to your claim. D: "in other words, the israelis have to pay a price by losing land because of palestinian aggression even though the illegality of terror attacks is the palestinians" IF all of Israel's citizens are inside the GL AND the Pals launch terrorist attacks THEN Israel can build a temporary security wall INSIDE the WB. That's legal. If some Israeli citizens are illegally settled INSIDE the WB AND the Pals launch terrorist attacks THEN Israel can't use that as an excuse to thro a wall AROUND those settlements. That's illegal. Understand? Get rid of the settlements, and the wall is legal. Keep them, and the wall serves 2 roles, not 1.
