Ben Jabo, when one levels a charge of disinformation, he usually mentions what the disinformation is. Were you referring to my comment,"no military would attack a ship in international waters without checking its registration?" If that's it, what in the world does that have to do with the effectiveness of the N. Korean military? Is that what you based the disinformation charge on? You don't recognize that as a non-sequitur? The only similarity between the Pueblo and the Liberty is that a hostile nation attacked a US vessel in international waters. The difference: the N. Koreans captured the ship, and Israel tried to sink its target with all hands aboard. So, finally, we reach agreement, Israel mounted a hostile military attack on a US naval ship in international waters. That was my initial contention. By comparing the Pueblo attack to the Liberty attack, you obviously agree. Whew, a long time, a twisted path, uncountable irrelevancies, and lots of nasty pejoratives along the way.
