I would like to re-emphasize on some of the points Salman made in #186. The Muslim population overall is very much subjected to their clerics. And as we have seen over so many years, their clerics wish more to rule than provide spiritual enlightenment. Besides, it is not the extremist Islam that is doing all these suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism in the world today. It is the only version of Islam that exists. The religion posses violence in its roots. Throughout history, we see Islam being used an emotional tool to govern people. To me, it is more of a political system than religion. Even in Islamic societies, their own people are dealt with brutality & there's no law to protect human rights. And yeah, the Muslims of the world will NEVER rise up against brutal regimes like Iran's or Palestinian's. To a vast majority of them, they are heoroes who can quench their thirst for blood. To me, the military solution is the best way to deal with fanatics like Ahmadinjad etc.
