Spinning 18% unemployment as an economic boom takes a lot of imagination. Would Israelis accept that for themselves and accept it placidly or even get excited about the good times? I have trouble picturing that. It sounds much more like a severe economic depression that would bring down most governments in the world and radicalize the population, maybe even get them to embrace some really radical ideology.
