Elisabeth: I don't know where you are coming from (did you just listen to Ahmedinejad at Columbia U?), but your comments are sheer nonsense. Just back from Israel where I visited with my church. The people of Israel want peace more then any nation on earth. More then you know. They would love the US to stop the billions in military aid if they didn't need the arms for self defense. But as long as the extremists, such as Hamas in Gaza and Hizbolah in Lebanon are getting billions from Iran, Israel has no choice but to accept America's help. You make it sound like the Palestinians are fighting Israel with sticks. You know well that thousands of rockets have shelled Southern Israel from Gaza. Tons of explosives have been smuggled in from Egypt and the Hamas is armed to their teeth. Despite your declared wishes, Israel won't disappear. Becasue people like myself will do everything in their power to see that Israel persists.
