Pastor Dankof points correctly to the "dispensational division of the Christian Right." One might call them 'Darbyites' or the 'Schofield Bible' right which came to prominence in Fundamentalist Protestant circles after the middle of the 19th century. Their Judaic-centered eschatology was, to my knowledge, unknown before that time.
