No question that the Syrian border has been the quietest of all the "hostile" borders since 1973. Syria didn't respond when Israel buzzed Assad's palace last year. Syria didn't even respond when Israel attacked her just a few weeks ago. Quietest border of all, PETER, by far. And what do we hear from Israeli supporters? GIVE SYRIA A GOOD THUMPING! SO ON, STICK IT TO THOSE SYRIANS! ASSAD'S ASKING FOR IT, SO SHOW NO MERCY!! Yep, the quietest border of all, and the IDF can hardly be contained from launching itself across it, and the IAF *has* been launching itself across it. So if *I* were the leader of an arab country, and *I* were anywhere near Israel, then *I'd* want potent land-to-sea missiles within my borders. You bet. And I'd feel pretty justified in wanting that, and I wouldn't much care who was hefting them, so long as they were ready and willing to fire them at any Israeli who crossed the border. But, hey!, that's just me...
