Clearly you must mean American Israeli. The vast majority of American Jews (myself included) are citizens only of the United States. Dual nationality is only good if you feel a reason to belong to both nations. That reason can be as little as ease of passage through particular airports (which is why an American-Israeli friend of mine loves his third passport, from Switzerland), but no one gets dual citizenship just as a hedge, or to vote in an extra election.
