CJ: "Johnboy `annexed` ? Is there a document to show annexation of the territories Israel captured by 1949/50?" From the earliest days of its inception Israel has had the "Law and Administration Ordinance" in place. And that ordinance clearly stated that all laws applying within the State of Israel would apply to "any part of Palestine which the minister of defence has defined by proclamation as being held by the Defence Army of Israel." That can have only one meaning i.e. any part of (ex)Mandate territory that the IDF manages to get its greedy mitts on automatically becomes a part of "Israel". An illegal action under international humanitarian law, sure, but an action that is "legal" under Israeli law. NOTE: Israel amended that ordinance immediately after the Six Day War so that its application WASN'T automatic, but had to be "designated by the government by order"
