I think the statement that Palestinians are more computer savvy than people in Canada is a ridiculous comment. Did you take a comparative scientific poll?? In any event the gist of your remarks is simple. People need to hope to move forward with their lives. In the absence of it, they will look to those that they feel will bring results. Unfortunately through years upon years of Yasser Arafat and his "misdirection" of funds meant for the Palestinian people that hope is fading. Israel should and could open up the noose to give Palestinians the opportunity to better their lives. The test is Gaza. Unfortunately after torching and burning the synagogues and destroying millions of dollars worth of farming equipment and greenhouses, they themselves eliminated their own opportunities. Yes Israel is to blame for restrictive borders, checkpoints, etc. However in the face of infiltrations by "bad apples" what are they to do?? Look at what is happening in France. A civilized country, no occupation, liberal, didn't participate in the Iraq war. What did the French do to deserve this situation?? Businesses torched, homes burned, thousands of vehicles destroyed. Why?? The French government allowed it to spin out of control. Although this is an extremely organized attack across the country. Who participated?? Disgruntled Muslim youths. Does that justify this behaviour?? Is this going to insure that their situation improves?? NO, NO, NO. Sometimes there is no other choice than to deal firmly with individuals in the face of insane situations. If the French have the backbone they will arrest detain and destroy the leadership of these riots. They have no choice. This is spreading and needs to be put in check. Therefore to make a long story short, so is Israel in a quandery with the Palestinians.
