There is a further aspect of the cult beyond Judaism and Zionism and that is the cult of the group, the cult of the 'Jewish People'. Which means that even when you take out the religious cult and the nationalistic cult there is still a 'group' cult left. Hence the oft asked question about the identity of secular Jews- isnt that a contradiction they ask. Its not a contradiction because the group cult recognises its members even when they are not conforming- ie; the cult does not wish to let go. So just becoming secular, non religious and indifferent to Israel is not sufficient to leave the cult. One must leave the group completely. A cult is not something to be half in and half out of- ask anyone who has managed to leave one and they will tell you, it's all or nothing.
