Well, Israel has never signed this treaty. The NPT. Both are members of the UN, signed the charta, and the SC is more or less free to declare a "thread to world peace" if it likes so. But the SC is not a "tool a la Litvi" (not to mention "tool a la Bush"). It is hard to explain why Irans nuclear activity is a thread to world peace, and, lets say, Pakistan and Indias nuclear activities are not. Ok, thats the main problem, do you know an answer? You would have to convince the world that your accusations are based on more than prejudices. The bomb as a bomb is not enough. And face reality: Irans political role in the ME has allready changed anyway. From the war Iraq-Iran to the war US-Iraq. The motives of the U.S.? They blame the gouvernement of Iran for very old stories, much like some blame Hezbollah for old stories, that are not only old, but also difficult, to put it mildly. The SC is not a criminal court, it looks into the future, like Olmert etc do as well (thats right).
