    So much for "not wanting to live in Israel"... I doubt Finkelstein has shown anything. To give Pappe a small amount of credit at least he is open about his bias and is open about his approach to "history". Finkelstein pretends he is being "objective", a brave exposer of "lies" etc, when in reality he is simply a bad academic who knows when he slags off Israel he is secure as the politics override the fact that what he says is nonsense. Again to give Pappe credit at least he bothered to learn the languages that the sources are written in, Finkelstein doesn't bother with primary sources - which means he makes some howlers - he simply attacks other authors.
