I've just quit my job as an English teacher in a boy's yeshiva, for pretty much the same reasons as the blogger. The kids are unruly, and soon learn that there isn't anything you can do to them. They talk, throw paper, get up and leave when they want, play games on their phones, talk back, and more. I can add: - students who weren't in my class wandering in and out of the classroom every 2 minutes from the beginning of the lesson to the end - and staying up to 1am preparing lessons only to arrive and class has been unexpectedly (i.e. not on the published schedule) cancelled. This happens almost every week.
