Syria is worried about the Israeli reaction to the Hezbollah possible take over of Lebanon during or after its nearing elections. It is clear that the Hezbollah is an Iranian operator, the question is how far Syria will be ready to go to bed for Iran. For the long term, Iran will most likely try to get rid of the present Syrian government and install people of their own faith right after they will feel that Lebanon is in their hands. Israel has nothing to gain by attacking Syria. Hamas is another question. They may have just cooked a different dish that they meant to and if they will not be able to take the west bank over, the will chock in Gaza.
