Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. If the government banned the unions, there would be no one left to make sure that the workers were paid a reasonable, living wage. Just the goodness of heart of those self-same, self-gratifying Knesset members. Not something I would like to have to depend on. Support your fellow citizen - support the strike, and encourage the government to play fair with its employees.
