you seemed to have gone with the American media's hysteria about Dr.A.It was explained almost immediately after his speech that he had been mistranslated. He did not say that there were no homosexuals in Iran. What he said was that Iran does not have a similar problem in terms of its wide prevalence. We have to remember the cultural differences.Genuine homosexuals are only 2 to 5% in any given society worldwide(The early Kinsey report of 10% has been discredited). In America, the lifestyle does encourage experimentation(to which individuals are entitled for sure!) but this is not done in Iran.I hope you are not going to minimise cultural differences between nations and expect Dr.A to conform to U.S. standards of social behaviour.Heaven knows we have coco cola already & macdonald hamburgers. Not necessary for other nations to imitate everything the u.s.does! Re:his views on israel that has been endlessly clarified by farsi scholars,as opposed to zionist interpretations of what he said.
