"Israel answered this apparent Arab rush to war by staging a sudden air assault, destroying Egypt's air force on the ground." So Israel was responding to an "apparent" (????) "rush to war" (????) by the Arabs. And that Israeli response was, well, what? Why, ISRAEL STARTED A WAR. And did so because it decided that the other side had "apparently" begun to "rush to war". That's two Mighty Big Caveats, BEN, and rightly so. But there is one "fact" as well; Israel started that war. So how does that prove she didn't? "On October 6, the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur (thus ?Yom Kippur War?), Israel was attacked by Egypt across the Suez Canal and by Syria on the Golan Heights." ISRAEL was attacked? Sloppy words indeed: Does this article mean that ISRAELI TERRITORY was attacked? Or does it mean that the IDF in the Sinai and the Golan Heights was attacked? Do tell, BEN. I'll wait, though I don't think I'll be very impressed by the reply...
