I think that unless the press asks them repeatedly, the Republican candidates will make every effort to avoid having any real position on this peace effort. Giulianni is on record as opposed to even talks. Romney will take whatever position his pollsters say will win in a primary in whichever state he's in at the time. I'm not sure on the rest. As to the Huckabee quote, I just watched the video at http://http-trd-l3.cdn.turner.com/cnn/services/podcasting/lateedition/video/2007/11/25/late.edition.11.25.07.cnn.m4v I didn't see him say that. He looks pretty lukewarm on the subject, but he didn't seem opposed. I think somebody made up the quote to make trouble. I looked pretty hard at everything he said. I am no Huckabee fan. He's wrong on too many issues.
