    vh: "no israeli government can legally MAKE ANY JEWISH SETTLEMENT ILLEGAL !" No matter how much you want to cite San Remo and/or the Mandate, victor, once Israel became a sovereign state it became master of its own laws within its own jurisdiction. Because that's what "sovereign" actually means. So if the Knesset passes a law that says that all "Jewish settlers" have to wear their underpants on their head then that's ISRAELI LAW, and the only limitation on the legislature is that any laws they enact can not violate the constitut... .... oh, yeah, sorry, Israel doesn't have a constitution.... If you want to claim that Israeli law DOESN'T APPLY in the occupied territory of the West Bank then, yeah, I agree; it doesn't. But the law that DOES apply in this occupied territory is the law that applies to ALL occupied territories i.e. int'l humanitarian law.
