Only AFTER '67 did the holy sites for ALL religions become opened and cared for. Before 67 the Mt of olives cemetary was destroyed, all synagogues where desicrated, as were most churches. The western wall area was used as stables. Today, since Israel gave bethleham over to the pales, the church is in ruin and a huge mosque was build adjoining it.
