Especially here: DT: "He`s willing to give collective benefits, but not collective punishment. Why? Because Jews just can`t do that!" No, David, it's because NOBODY can do that under Int'l Humanitarian Law i.e. these laws don't give a flying f**k what religion the perpetrators are. This is all so illuminating! David is insisting that the rules that apply to EVERYBODY must not be applied to Israel. Why? Because Israel is chock-a-block full of Jews. And in order to justify this concept to himself, David has to invert reality: *everybody* is entitled to dish out a little collective punishment - OBVIOUSLY THAT IS TRUE! - and so if Israel isn't allowed to indulge in a little indiscriminate civilian-deprivation then she is being picked on, and the only reason David can think of why Israel is being picked on is because the entire world is anti-semite. How about this, David: Israel is being picked on because its behaviour is unconscionable, immoral, and illegal.
