Dino, if European politicians are willing to meet with members of an organization which is listed by the EU as a terror organization, then obviously it is their privilege, just as it is Israel's privilege, as a sovereign nation not to welcome those politicians. Hamas has for purpose to annhilate Israel, and if there are those in Europe who are not bothered by this, then one can only conclude that they have resumed their old habits. Your attempt to put Likud in the same basket as Hamas is beyond the pale and shows your true colors. Likud is a legitimate political party, no different than any right wing European party. Indeed, it was under Likud that the peace treaty with Egypt was concluded, and it was under Likud that the disengagement from Gaza took place. The decision to boycott the Hamas government was agreed upon by the entire Israeli cabinet, including Labour, with only two abstentions. Your understanding of Israel's situation is, I am afraid, quite shallow.
