65-year-old from local kibbutz suffers moderate wounds after being stabbed in the neck in southern Israel; manhunt underway for suspected assailant.21:04 06.02.16 | 0 comments
Statistics show an enormous spike in terrorist murders and maimings of Israelis after Oslo. Up until Oslo, terrorist attacks on Israelis were relatively rare and severely punished. In a typical year pre-Oslo, Israel would suffer perhaps a dozen fatalities due to terror. I don't mean to minimize any loss of human life. However, after Oslo these figures shot up astronomically. In the decade after Oslo, more Israelis lost their lives and wellbeing due to terror than in the years from Israel's establishment to Oslo. No rational person can call Oslo a success for Israel. Nor can any rational person call Israel's retreat from Southern Lebanon and Gaza successful. Except for terrorists. For Israel, the "peace process" has been and remains a catastrophe. Appeasement never has been a successful method of creating peace.
