Don't you ever get tired of re-pasting this same piece? Not only does it show discrimination against SECULAR JEWS, as well as Arabs, but it is also from 2001. It would be interesting to see what the statistics reflect today, seeing as the ultra-religious parties haven't held a pivotal position in the Knesset or government since 2000. At any rate, this single example does not in any way prove that Israel is not a democracy. It only proves that Israel is not perfect. I imagine you could find similar examples of imperfect democracy in, for example, the Republic of Ireland. Say, a teenage girl who has the misfortune to get knocked up.
