    ...from the current Marxist/ Islamist regime already in Iran . The communists were atheists, and at least the people weren't FORCED to pray 5 times a day, every day of the week . Alex, it's one thing if you love God so much that you WANT to pray that often, but it's quite another when you are given NO CHOICE ( under penalty of death). As for the " communists" the Ayatollahs executed, don't be so sure they really were commies. More than likely they were the intelligensia ( the dissidents) who dared to speak out against the Ayatollahs because they KNEW what kind of Hell Iran was about to descend into under the leftist leadership of the Ayatollahs. The Chinese and Soviets also executed or exiled people to the gulags who spoke out against their regime. PS- Islamism is 100 % extreme left ( EVERY totalitarian regime is )
