Dear Kathy, OK, we agree. The situation in Israel has changed. The right wing settler group has increased. The question is, are they anti Israel as we know it. The answer is simple. They will override all that is sanctimonious to us that built the State of Israel. We and our parents fought the Fedayeen. Of course we were young. Yet we believed in Eretz Israel. Now, we have this new heritage. That have decided to increase and populate areas that are now biblical. That is, to their belief. How sad. Gone are the days of true Zionism. How we miss the years pre 1967. The years of Artic, the years of our true beliefs the years of our adolescents. The years when we knew that Mea Shearim was a no go. The years when Mapam existed. The years when we were naive. The years when we danced to bonfires on the beaches. Those were the years, when, Barak,Netanyahu and others had not yet joined ZAHAL. Funny enough, I was a tiron. Shalom.
