G: "The 1967 invasion by Egypt and Jordan ended up at the Jordan River and the Nile River." Egypt and Jordan INVADED Israel in 1967? Where, exactly? I'm curious: how can an army invade by sitting tight in their foxholes until the enemy tanks rolled over the top of them? The six day war started with an Israeli sneak attack from the air and an armored OFFENSIVE into the Sinai. You can claim that Egypt deserved what they got. Go ahead. But you can't claim that they INVADED Israel. They didn't. Israel invaded Egyptian territory. G: "after another failed invasion in 1973" Ahem. Egypt made no attempt to INVADE Israel in 1973. That war was fought entirely on Arab soil, and was fought entirely over possession of that Arab soil. G: "Does Ivar propose that Egypt take back its Gaza colony?" Egypt never claimed Gaza between 1949-67. They made no bones about the fact that they were occupying it. Really, Gene, where DO you get your "facts" from? Comic books?
