    By blaming the IDF. How odd. DT: "They were unprepared for last summer because of the incompetence of the generals." Right. And incompetence in the command structure isn't the sign of an army grown fat and lazy? How so? DT: "Gosh, such indications that we 'lost'..." Ah, yes, Hubris, my mushroom-like little friend. Sitting in the dark, is David, and feasting on bullshit. No-one outside of Israel is in any doubt how poorly the IDF performed in that little war. Israel has spent the last few decades picking only on weak opponents like the Pals, and Lebanon in 1982. A cake-walk, that one, said Sharon. Only it wasn't, and the IDF actually SLUNK out of Lebanon in 2000. Lebanon 2006 really redressed that little embarrassment, didn't it? The signs are there David, but do go on counting the shiny F-16s and the gleaming Merkavas, and gloat about how they make Israel invincible. Fine. Sparta felt the same way, right up to the end.
