Hello D, I thank you for trying to "defend" me, although I don't think any of this will change anything. I will explain right away, but I first want to call your attention to the fact that Danite and I have NOT "been at it for a long time". I do not attack Danite on my own; in fact I try to ignore him and generally do not even read his posts. It is Danite who is after me (as a swarm of bees). In principle, I send in some reaction but only to keep the principle of "measure for measure" running. Let me explain to you something about Danite which I understood only recently, although the signs were there all along. Danite is an apologist for the Jews and would not tolerate criticism, justified or not. But there are many such people and they don't behave as he does. But Danite has a special problem of his own. I believe he has a learning disability (I am serious) which does not allow him to follow logic. I saw it in one attempt of his to get some information out of a legal document. He was completely helpless and couldn't tell what was relevant and what was not. Quite remarkable; I don't think I have ever witnessed such a thing. I heard of such a person once, and I was told the hardest topic in school for him was Mathematics. No doubt, that was Danite's poorest subject throughout his life. Unfortunately, perhaps, learning disabilities were not detected over thirty years ago, so Danite may have spent his life not understanding his failure in school and blaming various teachers for his shortcomings. He may still not understand his special situation. Take such an incapacitated "Defender of Judaism" and you get the kind of strange attacks he launches at me. Of course they are not justified, but go explain this to somebody who cannot process logic. I am sorry it happens, but this is a nuisance I can live with.
