It's true that the Gaza population rioted and destroyed much of what was left by the Occupiers. But any thoughtful Israeli would have predicted a similar outcome. Blacks in Detroit rioted after World War II came to an end, Germans rioted in Berlin after the Soviets exited, and it will happen again when any suppressed and Occupied people gain the least bit of freedom. That's just the "way things happen". Objective Israelis realize that when an entire population lives in a ghetto, has been Occupied for years, and denied travel and water resources - - - that it take years to begin functioning at a sustainable level. They need to develop and refresh their skill levels and commercial acumen. Israel's wealthiest industrialist, Stef Wertheimer, recognizes this and has no difficulty employing Palestinians, to their mutual advantage. If if works for him, what's wrong with the rest of the Israelis?
