"I think, that Lieberman`s idea of citizenship conditioned with oath of loyalty to state is not bad, too." What form will this oath take, Shlomo? USA public figures have to swear an Oath of Office, and in that they swear to uphold the Constitution. Does Israel have a Constitution, Shlomo? If it doesn't, then to what does the Israeli citizen swear allegiance? Let me make another prediction: if THIS idea gets up then it will be an Oath of Allegiance to the REGIME, not just to the State of Israel; the oath-taking will not be swearing themselves as a citizen of a nation called Israel, but also swearing to the eternal nature of zionism. It may surprise you, Shlomo, but the State of Israel and the "zionist regime" that has run it since 1948 are not the same thing, any more than the Soviet regime WAS Russia, or the Apartheid regime WAS South Africa.
