For gods sake the Christian country,Italy, were the Vatican is located,is the mafia center of the world.President Andreotti of Italy was associated with Mafia. The bank of Vatican was run by people associated with the Mafia.Calvi's Banco Ambrosiano collapsed in one of Italy's biggest frauds, inciting the wrath of Mafia bosses who were owed money and didn't want to be named in the scandal. Now the Russian Mafia is out performing the Italian Mafia. So you have Eastern Ortodox country Russia run by Mob (Mafia) and the catholic Italy controlled by Mafia,Vatican finances connected to Mafia. By those standards we Jews and israel is quite respectable. We are not perfect but quite "kosher". OK Olmert did get some special discounts on his house, pushed through deals for friends while a minister. He is not crooked mafioso type.Just clumsy in covering his traks of rather small deals. Like wise Sharon was in a grey area.By Italian standards definitely not a big mafioso crook.
