I understand your point that Iran should be dealt with, but Iran should not prevent Israel from settling peace with its neighbours, if peace settlement is possible. You will agree that the present situation is far from being acceptable == also == from the viewpoint of Israel's population. You will agree probably that trying to tear Syria away from Iran would be a better strategy, in order to weaken Iran's position, than refusing dialogue and leaving Syria together with Iran. I wouldn't worry too much about Iran having nukes anyway. Even Mollahs are intelligent enough to realize the terrible consequences the use of nukes might have == on their own country ==. After all: as a Tokyo resident, I am under threat from North Korea's nukes, and the fact that North Korea threatened Japan with "physical consequences" after Japan imposed financial sanctions on them didn't prevent me from sleeping.
