Tobia, only 4 were sought for the identity theft, the rest were run of the mill illegals being exploited and willing to do whatever the employer asks for an opportunity to stay. The meat and poultry industry and home construction and of course, the garment industry are notorious. And of course, ICE and its predessor INS make a habit of underenforcing against the employers. We both know the system is broken but maybe the new Congress will have enough guts to make the compromises to fix it. My point was, though, that you couldn't treat the accused illegals much worse. Maybe this raid was a PR move by ICE to demonstrate what things might be like if they go after the rest of the 12 million illegals. That would be quite an object lesson, wouldn't it.
